Meet The Team

Jordan is the Founder and Board Chair of the Global Arts Initiative (GAI). After creating the Ghana National Music Festival in 2015, Jordan quickly understood that there was a need to promote and celebrate world cultures through education and music. Toward that end, he and his team of partners founded the Global Arts Initiative as a way of educating our communities on the beauty and power of music to mend some of the social and cultural divides that exist.

 

As the Chair of the Board of Directors, it is his goal to create opportunities for education and performance, both in the US and abroad, that encourage and enlighten audiences, students, and individuals to the unique art forms found around the globe. As a musician himself, Jordan has dedicated the last 8 years to the study and performance of traditional West African music on the guitar. He considers it his responsibility as a musician and organizational leader to use his art as a vehicle for change in his communities around the world.

 

When not performing or serving his community through the GAI, Jordan is the co-Chair of Fine Arts at the Frederica Academy, a full time father of three girls, and the husband of fellow GAI Team member, Brooke Stanley.

Antonio Allen serves as Vice-Chair for the Global Arts Initiative. Antonio is a saxophonist with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Columbus State University and a Master's in Music Technology from Indiana University - Indianapolis. Antonio is passionate about spreading music globally, and thrives on incorporating innovative technology into his performances.

 

He is an enthusiastic participant in the Global Arts Initiative, aiming to enhance the reach and impact of music across diverse communities.

Rachel Toda serves as Board Secretary for the Global Arts Initiative. Rachel is deeply passionate about supporting the Arts and creating platforms for young people to explore their passions. It is her passion for people that fuels her work with GAI. Apart from her work on the Board, Rachel owns her own real estate business and serves clients in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
 

Rachel lives in the Washington DC Metro area with fiancé  Antonio Allen and their rescue dogs, Nina and Junie. 

Brooke Taylor serves as a Board Member to the Global Arts Initiative. She is thrilled to serve the her community, sharing the vision and mission of inspiring impactful change through the arts.  Growing up in a musical family, Brooke has always been passionate about the Arts and  being immersed in peoples' growing talents. She looks forward to the growth of the Global Arts Initiative, future collaborations with talented artists, and projects both domestic and abroad.

 

Brooke works in the medical field and raises three beautiful girls with her husband Jordan Taylor in Brunswick,Ga.
